Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG)
The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA-Metro) serves the
airport with two routes:
Route 55T (Trolley) runs between the airport and downtown Niagara Falls. The
trolley will take you to the American falls area and casino, as well as all of the
attractions around it. It operates every day, including holidays, from 9:00am until
11:50pm, every 60 to 75 minutes. The trolley takes about 50 minutes to get to the
Route 55 (Pine Avenue) goes in two different directions. To go to downtown
Niagara Falls, the American falls, casino and attractions, take the bus going to the
Portage Road Transit Center. This bus operates Monday through Friday from
5:13am until 11:25pm, every 15 to 60 minutes, with service more often in the
mornings and afternoons. On Saturdays, it runs from 6:47am until 9:21pm, every
60 to 90 minutes, and Sundays and holidays from 10:48am until 8:45pm every one
to two hours. The ride takes about 30 minutes.
Fare is $2.00 cash and all day passes are available on all routes for $5.00.

Keep in mind if you walk to the Canadian side of the falls, you will need to have a passport, passport card or
enhanced drivers license to return to the U.S. Enhanced drivers licenses are only available in three states, so
chances are you do not have one. Be sure you are prepared if you decide to cross the boarder.
